how many psi does .1 bar equal
BUWHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAhAHAH.
dear god tell me your joking......
wait your not, thats an honest question????
Jesus Christ, if your asking the most BASIC ******* questions dear god don't do this project, your setting your self up for disaster.
how much tuning have you done......?????
Fixed... lolz
Uh-oh... I've got a few coming down the tube then...

So dip ***** who haven't a clue will go into Autozone and ask for boost bars... the guy at the counter will tell them it's in the section with the carburateur belts...
Even with a dump valve the compressed air acts as a brake on the turbo (slowing it down), because the pressure on the backside of the turbo is at a higher pressure than on the front side (and the air actually wants to flow through the turbo backwards).
A blowoff valve is a more elegant solution to this problem by allowing the turbo to "freewheel" when the throttle is closed (equalizing the pressure on both sides of the turbo). Unlike a dump valve a blowoff valve can be used at multiple boost settings without reconfiguration.
Blowoff valves are sometimes incorrectly called dump valves because they serve a similar function, but they are very different solutions to the same problem."
That's what I was thinking of, same basic idea, different operation.

oh ok so 1 atm equals 29.7? i see now....so then the wastgate thingy gets hooked up to the engine? do i have to have one for each cylinder?
What? Pressure in the system increases when you close the throttle... when your on the throttle the turbo is flowing air through the charge pipes into the motor. When you shut the throttle by letting off the gas pedal, the pressure builds in the system since the turbo is still making boost, the BOV opens to bleed the pressure to a set PSI.
im sorry i dont know what a turbo really does...could i hook a turbo up to 2 of the exhaust ports and then another to the other 2? then i could mount an intercolder on top of the engine with dual ports and run them straight down into the intake manifold...of course i would only run this setup on the weekends as i would have to take the hood off

you know SOOOO little about what a set up like this takes that your just going to get your self into trouble.
please, take the time and do ALLOT of reading and research on turbo's, turbo system components, ect before you take the leap into this project.
you'll be much better off, you'll have an understanding of just what your doing AND you wont waste any money.
please dear god just stop now.
