Do you mean the stock exhaust manifold, or a manifold that you had fabbed for the turbo in your sig?

Send it to me, or get a die grinder/dremel with a grinding wheel and do it yourself. Its not too hard, just watch your material thickness so you don't create a thin spot that may weaken when heated too hot. Thats if you are talking about exhaust.

Do what ItalianJoe recommended. Just get a dremel and spend some time on it.

If its bad, get a 1/4" die grinder and a regular metal grinding bit. Thats what I use to open up the stock cast manifolds, stainless is a little harder material but you won't need to remove too much. Should be pretty simple.

I sent mine out to a shop I'm sure you could get the inside fine alone but I had my mating surface planed as well.

^^

That is something you could do yourself with a dremel/ die grinder, but not the planing. I could take it to work and plane down the flanges, but that is a little above the average home mechanic. Unless you have a belt sander.

i did that to the CA header i bought...smoothed the primaries down and tapered the edges down the where it meets the flange. i didnt really mess with the DP outlet, but i took a wire wheel to both flanges to clean the paint off where it had been previously painted

What kind of manfiold are you using? If its the ebay manifold,i can bet you that the flange is gonna be warped.I bought 2 of those manifolds.one for my cavalier and one for the cobalt.I sold both of them before i ever had a chance to use them, and both of them were garbage.I would never buy another one of those manifolds again. The welds were sloppy and the runners werent even lined up properly.
