Intake/Exhaust Help

Can't seem to decide on which would output the most optimal performance for my Cobalt SS Supercharged. Looking for help...

Intake:
Looking at either
Injen CAI -or-
Fujita CAI

Exhaust:
Borla Catback
Magnaflow Catback
Corsa Catback

and ive already ordered my GM stage 2, DC strur bar, and about to order GMP Extrude Honed Header along with which ever exhaust i choose.

Any advice? Suggestions?

Go with Magnaflow custom exhaust. It will flow better than a 40 series flowmaster.

The header will only make a difference after the stage 2 from what I've heard. And I know nothing about the intakes.

i picked up the fujita last week and love it.. no CELS, no fitment issues, and no scratches/dents like other intakes seem to have before and after installation

I think ill go with the Fujita CAI due to the tons of people pvt messaging me about how good it is. Now as for the exhaust....

Still can get a good jist. i mean all those brands both are 2 1/4" opposed to the stock 1" So in essense should i just be looking at weight now? or what?

sound clips are all over the forum, do a search or find someone near you that has one of the exhausts and hear it for yourself...i think the corsa sounds best though...they are all 2.5 so far...

I have a 3 inch exhaust set up with a Magnaflow muffler... Not to bad sounding. It is loud though... It was on the car when I bought it so I am not sure if it was a kit or if someone got creative in a shop somewhere.

To be honest, a cat-back is a cat-back, an intake is an intake. No one can honestly say that one product will gain you more power over another because each part can react differently as far as power gains on every car.

Basically, just pick one that sounds good or is cheaper (but not cheap quality).

As far as header goes, look into another header like one from Pacesetter or Weapon-R.

i think you can put it into two categories high end for a high price or best bang for the buck. With that in mind:

Injen+Magnaflow = best bang for the buck

Fujita+Corsa = high end for a high price

What kind of exhaust is this 3" exhaust? Also any ideas if JDM makes exhausts for Cobalts? i know they do for RSX's. But Corsa is sounding nice (Met a guy by my work yesterday who had one) i heard the Borla on ModernPerformance.com it was actually kinda disappointing. Still gotta heard the Magnaflow, in essence since there all the same size and suppose they sound the same ill just go with which ever is lighter.

Also "NJHK" is the GMP not so good, i liked the idea of it because GM backs it with the warranty.

corsa touring and fujuta intake- no brainer

I had the corsa sport and the fujita and the exhaust was a little too loud but the intake was great, so i would go with the touring.

But in essence the Touring and the Sport carry the same performance, just different sound?

yes same flow just different amount of sound, the touring would be more liveable in daily driving and on the highway.

Now one more question. Forgive me if this sounds stupid, but, is it possible to Turbocharge a Supercharged engine?

If not, what other steps can i take to further increase my HP? besides Pulley kits GM stage 2, Headers, Exhaust, CAI, and Flywheel

You can do cams, ported head, future S/C swap, but there might be a turbo kit coming out in the furture which would be awsome.

From what I've read, there is still some restriction in the manifold. I believe something like a Pacesetter headers tubing will be physically bigger.

you could possibly do a remote turbo setup but talking about it is almost a forbidden fruit

Yes it's possible...logical performance wise, no. People will argue it but there is no need to have 2 sources of power on 1 vehicle.
