New to the Forum..but old school in FI!

Hey guys
Love the new cobolt and have been having allot of fun with them and the ION's! but i was reading through the posts and i see allot of turbo stuff but no Centrigual SC stuff on here is no one aware that there is a ATI Procharger kit for these little bad boys or am i the only one with a kit that i have been selling since 03?

So i am sure you guys will ask why ATI and not turbo? Well it is not that i dont like turbos...i love them done many turbo kits but i like to be different and do different things and set the bar for being unique.

Also my the Procharger is all self contained and no tapping oil lines and such and love the sound and look of the blower.

So anyway keep the post coming and just wondering how many ATI guys are here if any and share idea's and such!

Thanks Kevin

Oh yeah i am going to be installing a ATI on a 2.2 ecotec on a 04 ION QC here this weekend or next i will get some pics for you guys that are interested

theres allready a vortec kit out for the 2.2's, personally i'd rather tap the oil pan for oil, oil is always new and you dont have to worry about maintanance on the supercharger, it will be part of regular maintanance with the vehicle.

How about instead of a turbo in front of a supercharger we put a vortec in front of a eaton ?

That would be an interesting combo, dual super charged.

BTW Welcome to the site Speedmafia.

I'm with Zinner, I'd rather have two blowers than a turbo on a blower.

lol turbo and sC lol that would be interesting..and thanks this is a great forum...Also i found it a pain on my D-1 procharged Vette with the oil and it would leak not only that but in hot weather you have that hot oil from the motor being pumped into the blower and heating the blower very hot and then blowing hot air and getting heat soak on the intercoolers and creating detonation...but if you ask anyone with a Self contained unit the blower it does not get as hot and it ke eps the temps down on the air going to the intercooler and into the intake manifold and you can run more timing and less detonation.

Also the ATI is a better unit then Vortech in my opinion it has an billet impeller and and the gearing is different i have ran both and didnt like the vortech to much... but it is still a great product.

Either way I was wondering how many centrifugal guys are on here Vortech or ATI Procharger?
