ott stage 1belt or the pulley?????

so like the topic says ottp stage 1 kit belt opinion OR the larger pulley what is more reliable with less slipping, and any other comments you guys wanna add about it, AND THANKS FOR POSTING

I got the belt but thats because I need a new one

The larger tensioner pulley is cheaper

I know but lets say the belt overtime breaks or something happens to it and i need a new one ok, would i be able to go to like auto zone or some **** to get the same belt or i would only be able to get it from ottp and reorder and wait for it.

Its a gm belt so you could get it from a dealership or find one that has the same specs at an auto parts store.

i would ask lsjwannabe or fast98 about the difference for slippage. im am not positive since i havent tried both options. i am sure they can clear it up for you.

you won't see slipping with the pulley, you have to grind down the tensioner to make if fit flush though.

it's not hard, the hardest part is taking the tensioner off, i'm just debating if i want to spend the extra 5 mins doing it or spend the extra 40 LOL

it's not as tedious as it sounds, the tensioners held on buy like 2 torx bolts i think, here's what you have to do to it in the pictures at the bottom.

Thats just what i was going to post, its not hard to do really. Its mostly a matter of convience when it comes down to it for most users. I personally ran a oversized tensioner on stock belt with my 2.5" setup with no slip.
