Whats the smallest pully i can use with out having to machine the snout?

 

i think its a 2.7 but someone may have gone smaller. it may actually be 2.6

 

2.6" mybe a 2.55 from nate though

It depends on where you get it from. Nate's pulleys are nice and thin, so they tend to clear even though they are smaller. And they weigh less, so its a win-win.

It also depends on the blower, they are just cast, so some are rougher than others.
