Wheelspin/hop through 1st and the shift to second. He needs mounts and better tires.

LOL, so inadvertently this post might help me. With my 2009 Pontiac G5 GT I just installed the SC in with the 2.9 pulley... it just wants to spin, even with the active handling on, in 1st gear. If I want to take off in 1st hard, I have to take off slowly and then punch it. So mounts would help me with this? LOL.

I have good tires as they are Pirelli P6's with only 5500 miles on them.

Pirelli P6's are good all-season tires. Sticky tires will fix wheelspin, like KDW's or something.

Mounts help to stop the wheelhop when spinning. Look into the spherical CAB's or rotated mounts from OTTP. The mounts fix the geometry issues that casue the hop, and the CAB's stiffen up the front suspension and stop the actual movement that happens during the hopping.

I have the Injen CAI and yeah man it get's loud! I've gotten used to it, and i want it louder, so if I got a smaller pulley it would make it even louder???

I was looking at GM stage 2 but it's mad expensive. What else could I do?? Are there equivalents for Stage 2 that are cheaper??

Well, I just installed the intake on my setup, which would kind of be a stage 3 on a 2.2 and it is very loud now at WOT.... the whine. It sounds like this.

Since I did a 2.5 bar MAP sensor to convert to see IAT2's my car is running really badly until Vince gets back, so I haven't gotten to see, hear and feel the full effect.
