Sweet job! That was a mirror like finish, before it was painted. It looks sweet, almost a black chrome look now eh?

But going the way we did instead of black powder coat he saved money because we didn't have to fully take apart the sc i.e. taking the snout apart and bearings in the housing out. This way here it air dry's but takes up to 7-8 days for the ceramic to fully dry and cure. And when it does it's hard as nails. And if the light hits the sc in a certain angle you can see a bit of the polish under the coating shine through. But this coating can handle 600-700* which the sc will never see. And unlike powder coat it will not fade over a long period of time.
YEA, What he said!!! haha

Yea exactly. Its a complelty black, but has a super duper shine to it! and like Euthanasia said, if the light hits it good you can see the polish underneath. its pretty sweet.

And to all those about the polished comments...Yea the supercharger looked GREAT from the polishing. I love people who have a polished engine bay (valve cover, blower, etc.) BUT, I hate the chrome look. Not only would it not match a damn thing on my car, but it would be even harder to clean and show more particles, dirt, dust, etc. And with the car being a daily driver, not what i was wanting.

good job kwest, i havent talked to ya in a while...nice to see its coming along well. i'll have to post up the new pics to my gallery of my engine bay. i've decided to go turbo eventually after talking with a few people and kenny from gm addiction. but i still may port an polish myself to give it a nicer look... my zzp tune is a little rich anyway so the extra air would be good for it. it looks great btw

yo whatup man, it has been a while. everything good? oh and a heads up, PLEASE DO NOT Get a tune through ZZP!!! I went threw 3 pcm's it my car still wasnt right. After me and vince have been tuning my car all day, the complelty screwed up alot of things. Not only did they get me a pcm off a 05model car, but they never registered my VIN # with it, they had my gas gauge reading backwards, they just eliminated my security system so if someone trys to still it they actually could, and they fucked up the case relearn. I WOULD NEVER get a tune through zzp again,

I forget, but what does plugging the holes do besides make it a little louder?

yea its from Eaton themselves. the holes are strictly for silencing the holes. Thats it! no performance gains/losses or anything. just sound

$250? For that work? I hope he sees this post because I will do it tomorrow if he does. Assuming the car is somehow driveable with no blower...which I doubt...
