sts (squires) turbo
sts (squires) turbo
has anyone on here tryed or have a sts turbo on the web site they have a 2.2 with one leaning more towards that heard alot of good stuff just need to get more info on it comparing 2000 dollars for that and 3500 dollars for the zzp stage 3 what do yall think
The zzp kit will outperform a remote mount turbo setup. V8 with big displacement can manage to spool a remote setup like the sts decently, but a 2.2 eco will perform better with a manifold mounted turbo.
rear mounted turbo's are great if you have a tight engine bay but if you have the room theres no reason for it. while rear mounted turbos work great they are limited. by zzp or piece together your own kit for cheaper.
but i have the 2.4 ss does that change anything ive seen a couple on you tube making 260 to the wheels will the stage 3 zzp kit give me more than that just trying to work out the kinks on which i should get
Cobalts have room in the engine bay:-P. ......... The rear mounted setup is ok but has tons of flaws. When its a dd. Like bumps in the road....... Oil starvation when done un correctly and ect.
stage 3 zzp turbo kit will produce over 300hp

ok i am not supercharged so no pulley change and i might go with the stage 3 zzp turbo just trying to decide which one plus sts also has the twin turbo option for 3 grand so
but i think i will go with the stage 3 zzp turbo kit does anyone know if they make an air to air intercooler for that kit cause i hear that is better than liquid to air cooled anyone know
plus that comes with the new ecm and pcm since i am auto

wow! never noticed that the zzp kit came with a water/air intercooler. now i can see why its a 3300.00 kit. ask them if they have an air/air setup. should be a lot cheaper. im not sure why they wouldnt have an air/air setup. you send them your pcm/tcm as a core and they ship you another set that is tuned.
ya i know air to air is a lot better than the water to air my bud had the supercharger kit for his 2.4 and his is liquid cooled so idk if they do air to air that would be good i would go with that but i dont want water to air
