Supercharged 2.2 questions!

Alright guys im drivin a 2008 pontiac g5 2.2l base, automatic. Im buying the exhaust headers and downpipe right now and i already have the cold air intake and b+m shiftplus. I think im going to get a tune right after i finish my plans so far. Then around march im planning on supercharging. My main questions are like what other supporting mods will I need like tranny mounts and things like that? Oh, and can some anyone link me to some of the main things such as the cobra heat exchanger and stuff like that? I mean around March im going to look on this site for the actual blower but ill try to start accumulating the nick nacks until then lol. Thanks alot for your help guys i dont know what id be able to do without you.

A transmission cooler could be one of the best things you can do for your auto. FI or NA.

Oh yeah i forgot, someone was telling me about that. Do you think if i buy that now that i will have to take that out and reinstall it when i supercharge? I mean, i may as well wait until then if i have to move everything and stuff right?

Oh and if i go with this one, what fitting do i need? It says theres 3 different options so im not 100% sure?

Thanks for the help already

They're all 3/8th inch fittings. The only difference is the size of the cooler.

Personally, I think any of those would work. Just find a good spot for it and clamp the lines.

there is nothing outside of whats listed in those how-tos that you need but it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a free flowing exhaust from the manifold back and maybe something to combat wheel hop (tranny mount inserts).

Learn as much as you can before you do it.
Make sure you or your installer knows what all is needed before you start.
Make sure the tune is spot on before you start screwing around while driving the car.

Have fun with it, done stress out over small things like screw up and stuff you can fix.

if your an auto, transmission cooler is a good idea. and full exhaust never hurts...stock header has the smallest primaries ive ever seen, but thats more of an optional thing.

Hey guys now that i got the main stuff out of the way like the actual blower and the parts, im looking for the right guages. I know this brand is pretty cheap and they could match all the red in my car already so this would be good.

what 3 guages would i need? I know im going with the cobalt 3 guage pod on the a-piller.

what will he plug the OEM gauge into...? lol get a mechanical gauge...theyre cheaper, and more accurate, and easier to install.
