well these aren't the main pics, but two pics from jn2s iphone.
i should taken some on my iphone..but i was lazy. scott has more, but we havent uploaded em yet.
BTW : engine is raised by a jack. took off the top, front and rear engine mounts so that way we could put on the ss/sc idler pulley setup. something that makes things super easier.

and about that twin charged thing juan....dont think so.
i'll use the m62 and thats all ^_^

so now the tune is in.
we're going to the bolt shop to get the custom bolts....will talk about those later on.

disclaimer...
when cutting a 6 rib belt and turning it into a 5, take clippers and do it slowly.
don't let an idiot say "**** that, gimme it and rip it before you can grab it back into 4 ribs"
or it'll cost you about 50 bucks. oreilys is the only other place that carries it besides the dealerships, and so does gm direct...but i can't really wait 3-4 days for them to order it.
i'm not mad at the person though, as they have helped me a lot and since i got lucky and have a friend that just bought a stage 2 kit,. since he has that he doesn't need the stock belt. woo.

it should all be done tonight, except for the belt thing.
tomorrow scott is having our friend manny go to the dealership, and is gonna install the kit for him there so we can have a belt. btw, the dealership installing the stg 2 kit is the only to keep warranty for lsjs. but anyways.
more pics later, more everything later haha.

looking good man, but I'd hold off a bit for the stage II install. Rememberthe cavi s/c kit (same motor) runs a bigger pulley than the LSJ stocker. (10.5psi) you're already going to be pushing 12.5-13.5 or so on that.
But anyway, nice to see me and chris's parts put to good use.

the cavi kit is not intercooled tho, so they will see highter pressures than most of us. When i ran a 3.0" pulley i saw 11psi. On the 2.9" im running now i see almost 13psi. larger displacement means less psi for the same CFM course i know you already knew this. thats for the others reading my post

i love having all these pics. i have your thread bookmarked for when i go to do mine. the how tos have good instuctions but are lacking in the picture department IMO so this, combined with the 2 how tos, should make it alot easier. another question-does trifecta have a tune for a 2.4 supercharged? how do they make the tune? do they have a test car or are they just punching in values based on your mods?

x2 The pictures were what was lacking from the other how to's. So between this thread and the how to's I feel very confident that I can do the install with a couple of buddies.

well ill copy and paste info straight from my messages that vince sent. its long..but it gets the point across, and shows you that its legit, and that hes a cool guy.

either way, i don't want to mess around with it in open loop, to do the actual real tuning, i'd like to just bolt all the pieces on and upload a file....and get it going.

can you guys do this for me?
and if so, how much would this run me.

i've got an 07 ls, and in the long run im going to get ls2edit to fine tune it, but like i said, i need to be able to drive it off, after the club and i put it together.

thanks, haza

Vince-
Yes we can, we can also remote-tune it using our data logger, either on the street or the dyno. By the time we finish with the data logger, you'll have a nicely dialed in tune.

We've done several 2007 boosted projects and they've all worked very well.

The price is $250 + shipping, and can be ordered from Clear Image Automotive https://www.trifectaperformance.com/cia-order

haza (me) -
Thanks
amazing!
that would be awesome.
hows the remote-tune work?

Vince-
Our hand held programmer has a data logger in it. So, I send you a base tune that you load on the car. Then you drive it on the street (or dyno) with the data logger running. When you're finished, you email me the data log, I review it, then send any required tune updates. We repeat this process until we've got your fuel and spark maps perfected. Once you're finished, you send the hand held back.

When you're ready to order the tune, just go to https://www.trifectaperformance.com/cia-order and fill out the form there. I'd recommend giving yourself about 5 days leaway, we've had lots of orders lately and we're a few days behind.

If you have any questions, feel free to write me, or call me.

Thanks"

thanks for the trifecta info. so its 250$ no matter how many times you get it revised? do you have to send the programmer back and forth or can they send it to your device without actually having it? IE internet etc

the file is sent per email.
since my car hasn't been turned on yet i haven't data logged or talked to him about any of that stuff just yet.
and yea he'll tune it till its right. luckily for me he's also coming to centex's gm bash in February. hopefuly there will be a couple hundred cavi/cobalts..compact gm cars there. but anyways, he's gonna fly down and dyno tune us. he said he'd retune me while out there. and the weather will be different so it'd be nice. other than that, its a good deal. i paid 285 (shipping), and theres a 200$ down deposit. i used my credit card on that. they never take the money out, they just put a hold on it, and if need be reopen that hold and take the money if they don't get their stuff back.

ill def let you know how the retuning process works with the data logger once i get there. i expect to be done today
