surge and bov.

my bov sounds pretty good if i hit 10 psi or so. but lets say i get 3-5 psi and let go off the gas it sounds funny. kinda like fluttering or something i guess thats the well known bad surge? cheap bov? or need to open it more? or what? first time messing with this so I need some input/help

is the bov adjustable? if not, you will need a lighter spring.

since its adjustable. run your engine at idle and adjust the bov to were the bov slightly opens at idle vacuum. once you get it there then put a litte more tension on the bov spring to completely close the bov at idle. this will prevent the bov from opening at idle. the engine will produce more vacuum coming off the throttle under boost (as compared to idle vacuum) opening the bov.

Do you have just your BOV on that Vac line? Its always good practice to seperate the WG and BOV lines.

no its t'd with a sensor .ima put it on its on. and i dont have WG this set up came internally gated lol
