teo4h turbo.......worth it?

Hey guys, I've been thinking of turboing the 2.2. I found a decent deal in a teo4h turbo, srt4 frount mount, some gauges, and a new turbo xs bov all for 300. Is it a good deal, and is it worth the turbo if I only wanna go for low boost, and a mild power gain.

id say put an m62 on it if you are just going for small power gains. its a lot cheaper and easier...

That was my original goal, but it seemed like a pretty good deal on the setup.

your gonna need all the lines and fittings which arent cheap, a turbo mani anywhere from 400-1000 bucks, then a custom downpipe $300 atleast, then charge piping, then a tune. your looking at easily 1500-2000. just go m62 if your looking for cheap. turbo and cheap dont go together.

turbo'd my 06 2.2 lt. started in february. still piecing it together. the little **** adds up quickly. ive spent over 2k in parts already and i lost track of how much time i have in it. hoses, fittings, unexpected finds during the build. it all adds up.

Why start another thread? Like I said in the other one when you said you don't know about turbos, sit back, research read and ask questions before you even think about it...

go for that turbo route. there are tons of ways you can make it cheaper. and all turbo manifolds are NOT 400-1000 dollars. PM me if you have any questions

agreed. im almost done with my turbo build. and so far i havent even spent 1k, all i need left is lines/fittings, gaskets, injectors and a tune. just depends on where you look, ive gotten a lot of great deals on things is why im sticking with it, but im still learning. do as much research as you can!
