This might be really dumb question.
Can I put a catalytic converter instead of the stock resonator? will it fit, is there is a high flow catalytic converter that can fit in the section where the resonator is?
Current setup:
ZZP non-cat'ed turbo DP
Now why?
ZZP dp is $299.99 not bad.
but I need recirculated wastegate add $100, I need a cat add $90, I need a O2 bung add $10
So with a total of $499.99 I must be crazy lol
so I wanted to see if there was a cheaper way to install a catalytic converter.
oh and I couldn't find where to post this thread...

im not any help but just to clear it up lol ..
you want to get the ZZP DP with out a CAT and all the bells and whistles and just put the CAT where the resonator goes ?
Doesnt the 02 sensor go after the CAT ?

Can't you just weld a new cat into your current downpipe...btw how does your exhaust sound?
Also I don't see why you wouldn't be able to put a cat where the stock resonator goes. As long as the inlet and outlet of the cat are the same diameter as your exhaust piping

Not really, just wanted to take away the strong exhaust odor and connect the O2 that is hanging somewhere down there lol
Ppl keeps asking and telling me: your car smell too strong. I just say im contaminating more
I dont want to destroy ZZPs dp in case i go back stock and can sell it.

Also you could buy a extra downpipe and do that...Theres someone selling a zzp downpipe with the recirculated dump tube on here.
Do you have full zzp exhaust? and is it loud? lol

another dumb question,
was looking at pictures of stock cat-backs. and see that I can put or fit a spun cat after the resonator...
now the question is, can a catalytic converter be install after the resonator?
