Turbo help

I have a 2006 cobalt ss supercharged and wanting to turbo my car. I have a friend that has a T4 GT3782 turbo and I'm woundering if this will work on my car. I haven't seen anyone running this turbo on any Cobalt. Just woundering if this is to big for our cars or if the flange is to big? Tried to use the search but had not good luck. Thanks for your help.

Thats what I was thinking. Better go twincharge to help with the spool.

Well. It's big. But, it's not as crazy as some here make it seem. With the right e-housing you could probably get full spool @ 5k. But, unless your planning on building and revving to 8+ the turbo would be a poor choice. The fact is there are many other faster spooling turbo's that would better suit your goals and be more efficient.

You could always try to trade down to something like a 30R.

Lol these aren't v6/v8's or fully built civics reving to 9k....doubt it would even fit without a custom relocation anyways.

Eh, SRT-4 owners put 60 trims on their cars likes its going out of style haha, and they have it hidden in the back also I know its not exactly the same, but yeah

they have .4 more liters displacement and most of them running a bigger turbo will prob have a built motor and be bored out to even more. IDK what kinda rpms they can handle though lol.
