Turbo help again

So I've been working on my turbo swap for about a month in half and yesterday I started it up with out the down pipe and with stock injectors and boost controller set low and it blew alot of smoke and wouldnt hold an idle. Is this normal for a car with out a tune? And what about the smoke I'm guessing the smoke is from being a brand new turbo with a little bit of oil in it still?

No tune yet i'm guess that's why the idle is jumping around and Im putting the 60 injectors on and welding the down pipe on but it was blowing smoke really bad and would only run for a min then die

what color is the smoke? did you use a restrictor in the feed line? is it bb?

come on you gotta give us way more info, thats why no one has offered much help

did you change the maf location?
it should idle fine, if the tune /inj are stock unless you have a vac leak or moved the maf

Thumbs down

The smoke is blue ish colour and Restritor?I'm trying my best with this it's my first build.I left the maf in the same spot as it would be on the cold air intake.I haven't put the down pipe on yet or the 60s so I'll get the 60s on check over everything again and try it again

if you have blueish smoke that means that oil is being burned.. not good... check your head gasket.

Also, you need to place a restrictor in your oil feed to not over flood the turbo with oil.

Like I said when I got the turbo it was oily so could that maybe be it?and I don't understand how it could be the head gasket the car has been parked for almost 2 months and wasn't blowing smoke before all of this. What's the best way of checking taking the plugs out and check to see if that's what's going on? Or remvibg the head?

its oil leaking past the seals in the turbo, you need a restrictor in the feed line to restrict the flow of oil to the turbo.
