im looking into getting the tvs what do i need? i was gonna do 80lb injectors, front mount intercooler, ls4 throttle body, and poss nitrous. i have 96k on the car, do you think its a good idea?

my current mods are gm stage 2, header, catless dowm pipe, cat back, and intake. i just dont know if i should go zzp stage 3 of tvs

or zzp stage 3 and nitrous lol

 

Tvs with the pulley it came with, and meth kit installed. If you buy the kit it will come with injectors and the **** you need to put it on. I been having my tvs on for a month now and it runs hard and fast as ****(compared to the M62). A good tune you will need also. If you want to keep your car running, don't do n2o. Just like the good people listed above said.

 

i was looking at ottp stage 3 and that comes with an tuned ecm what do you all think about that?

 

Yeah thats fine for starters. But if you get the extra cash and there is someone in your area to fine tune it I would do that. So that way your maf is tuned right and you can add more timing till it knocks then.

 

i think im more leaning to the tvs. if i get that and the ls4 throttle do i need the spacer plate?

do you need meth and if so do i need to be tuned for meth?

 

I heard alot of guys say they didnt like the ls4 tb with the tvs.

 

tvs you need 60's for that but you shouldbe fine... and get a front mount

Does the stock throttle bolt directly to the tvs?

 

Yes it does but it would be a restriction since the tvs inlet is bigger. It was designed for the ls4

 

ZZP tested the ls4 TB and it made no more hp until WOT...and thats w/ a ported ls4. you will get the same power quicker, but thats not a good thing unless all you want to do is burn out all the time in these FWD cars
