Lightbulb TVS or Twincharge

Thinking about getting one of the two. 97% decided on the compound kit. By the time get meth/dyno tune/etc just to hit ~33Owhp it will cost about the same. It would be less of a Hit of the bat but I see a lot of TVS guys going turbo. Pretty much decided just wanted some opinions.

Also what do you guys think of the base ZZP 2.0 turbo kit?

The turbo kit is quite a bit cheaper but I would still have to get a dyno tune unless they can give me something to drive on for a little while..not sure if that would be an option.

For the turbo guys, would using the SC intake mani for cooling be good for 350-400whp? Is there no need for a BOV with the charge piping being so short?

you always need a BOV. when the throttle plate closes the boost has to go somewhere

It all depends on what kind of shock you're looking to get. 90% of the people on here that try to bash the tvs have no idea of what it can do or what it feels like to pilot a car that has one installed on it.

Just didn't see the option on a BOV or a spot for one on the pipe.

That's not what I'm going off of. Just saying most make less power than a bolt-on tune TC. I just know if I get it I won't make area numbers. Looking for a minimum of ~350wHp.

What power levels are people getting out of that? Not really looking to buy the kit
/meth/etc then drop another grand on a ported head. Esp when ZZP has dynoed their kit as you can buy it at 400whp for a customer.

The TVS gives a nice bump in performance but the more I think about it its between the two ZZP kits I just wish I could get some PMs answered.

Looks like straight turbo is winning. I just wonder how much it would cost me to get the bov bung welded on. Looking for a really mild sound. Would be nice if I could get a reflash to atleast be able to drive to the dyno if nothing else.

I have the ZZP STG 3 H/E I wonder what that and the cores would be able to cool down power wise...

straight turbo is the way to go. zzp doesnt even run twincharged anymore. supercharger was restrictive.

when did zzp quit doing the twincharge...? im not aware of this and it only makes sense that they wouldve been improving/tweeking/perfecting it, not tossing it out
