I talked to them last week tuesday and they where going to stop doing it. Zoomer said it had to many problems and he felt that the straight turbo would produce better numbers.

drive a tvs car then drive a turbo car... the tvs car will make more than enough power for the chassis to handle.

Is there another supercharger other than the tvs that produces big/bigger numbers? I saw someone with a sweet sc that sounded like an airplane taking off.

it hasn't been put into production but there is a size that would be more beneficial to us. it would be the tvs 1650.

i believe the part about it having too many problems. my buddy 07blackSC was their first twincharge customer 2 years ago and i witnessed all the problems...when it was working right, there was nothing like it

Thinking about the 2.0 turbo kit with the extended tip 252.

Can't seem to find much info on it or get in touch with ZZP so I'm seriously considering just keeping the money in the bank.

well I was going to order turbo today but the company was closed. I am going with the billet precision 5857 but most likely the precision 5457 full spool by 3k rpm and capable of 465hp
i am also going with Tial Sport mvs 38mm external waste gate, Tial sport 50mm blow off valve and a 10in c105 intercooler core.

yea youll get about the same numbers but with the twincharge you have no turbo lag. i drove the twincharge and by 3 grand it was pushing all 25psi and pulling like hell....but yea, the twincharge was a hassle sometimes, so its a tradeoff

YeaH but with a properly sized turbo you pretty much stay spooled through the gears.

yea, once it spools and you rev out it will drop back into the power band and stay spooled, its just that initial lag you have to get past and the twincharge did just that, it was insane when i stepped on it and felt instant power and it pulling like hell, but straight turbo would be alot less hassle and more reliable

Nothing at all against ZZP, but I didn't get too many if any responses back about my twincharge inquiries and that included pm'ing known balt owners with the kit. They prob get flooded and since so few have it don't follow up if you aren't serious enough about it. I'm turbo now. For the hassel you want to go TVS however hassel aside I don't regret turbo at all. Im not dialed in yet so I've got much to look forward to. THe whine is nice but with my set up and open dump it's flat out nasty when I lay on it
