TVS vs M62
TVS vs M62
I know the TVS is a better supercharger all the way around but what I want to know is, on average, how much more power does the TVS deliver over the M62?
I know this will generally depend on what mods a person has but let's say just on a stock ss/sc.

going from a full bolt on m62 setup, and then switching to a tvs+bigger injectors. you'll pick up anywhere from 50whp to 80whp, sometimes more depending on other mods you add.
Well I have been trying to decide whether to turbo or supercharge my car. Seems a lot of people have turbos and M62's but the TVS isnt as common. And it seems that for around the same amount of money I can piece together the same parts for the supercharger setup then buy a new TVS and come out about the same as a new turbo kit, price wise at least. And the ease of the supercharger install seems better then the turbo.
My Experience
First Ever Dyno:
M62 w/ 2.85" Pulley - 5GPH Meth Injection - 60's - Stock Exhaust Manifold - 2.5" DP - GMPP Cat Back - Air box Mod - CX Heat Exchanger
272 HP / 256Tq
Immediately After Bolting on TVS - Same Dyno Shop
TVS w 80mm Pulley- All The Same except retuning MAF curve (no other changes to tune)
304 HP / 276tq
