TVS1900 Question

I've got this build that I'm doing research for, and I think the 1900 might work. I know of the Hot Rod magazine build, and the one euthanasia/100%METH are working on, but other than that, there's not much out there on adapting this blower to the LSJ.

Evidently the only cars the 1900 is specifically designed for are RWD (surprising right?). But the kits available for the RWD cars usually come with one of 2 variations:
1.Front Drive with Front Intake
2. Front Drive with Rear Intake (off at some weird angle)
Nothing like what's on the LSJ

My question is could you use a blower in this type of configuration

By removing the shaft that connects the belt drive to the 1:1 pulleys in the rear, and just run the belt on the actual drive pulley itself?

Or would it be easier to fab a custom intake to come off the passenger side of the car?

Yeah you'd need a drive that works for it. That LS setup isn't going to work at all, spacing is totally wrong.

I'm totally foreign to the SS/SC world, but he couldn't just turn it 90°? What's keep him from mounting it like the M62/TVS1320 and extending the pulley with a fabbed mount, with either a "front" (passenger side) or back (driver side) inlet?

Actually I might have found the solution. I found a catalog from 2010 and it seems you can order the blower with whatever drive/intake you need. Now I just hope they still do these kind of orders

^ Yeah, your setup is similar to what I wanna do. I wanna use the ZZP Shortblock + a Fully built/ported head I picked up from a member on here. ZZP Trans (maybe) and TVS1900 (or at least 1.6L) with water/meth.... looking to make at least 450 to the wheels

No reason you shouldn't be over 400whp.

DarkmanX did 370 on a stock bottom end with just a ported head, TVS and E85

That man can put anything on an LSJ motor. He's put a Lysholm 1.6l twin screw on a cobalt. and a MP90. and a TVS1900. and probably more things that shouldn't even go on a cobalt
