What pulley?
What pulley?
What is the smallest pully that can be used on the gm stage 2 tune, i dont wan to go too small and loose power due to iat's and maxing out the injectors so what are my options 2.9,2.85,2.8???
I have the 2.8 pulley boys, that was built specifically for the GM stage 2 hub.
25000 miles, problem free.
I have 37000 miles on my car, and trust me when I say Ive driven this car HARD! atleast 10 track trips, which = 60+ runs.
Much street racing (in my past)
lead foot driver
stage 2 tune, intake, exaust, high flow cat (think I shot the catalyst out the back tho lol), high flow DP, Header, 2.8 inch pulley, etc etc etc.
Stock clutch too, just as strong a day 1.
I run 13.4's, so you can imagine the power I am making, and havent had to "engine rebuild"
I think the 2.79 would be fine, but if you go lower, you will definately need to get tuned.
I look at it like this. Stock 32 lb injectors handled 3.3 inch pulley. to go to a 3.0 (gm stage 2) 42's were needed. so dropping down to 2.8 is borderline new injectors, but you should be able to get by scott free.
