your favorite gauges??

Ok so with my sc build comming up I need for sure a boost gauge and a wideband (what's the dif between a wide band and a narrow band reg a/f gauge?) I am also down the road either putting the 2.4 cluster in or the ss/sc cluster in.. but I was looking at the auto meter cobalt gauges. Thoes any good? Are there better? Not looking to spend a crazy amount. And honestly that auto meter cobalt one is a little high. What do you all like? And show me some pics thanks chris. Also if I was to go with a 3rd gauge what kind would you suggest?

Autometer Pro-Comp Ultra-lite series.

Wideband reads the actual mixture, narrowband reads lean/stoich/rich.

Basically what LS1 said but NB is less acurate than WB because it is usually a different style sensor too.

thats because aem makes intakes for literally everyone out there and they arent all that expensive. its the same with injen. i seen people with aem or injen stickers stuck all over their cars.....honestly their gauges are some of the best out. i run the true boost and the oil pressure gauge along with 3 interceptors. the aeroforces are nice because no other gauges with the exception of a few can do what they do but for the main parameters such as oil temp pressure, fuel pressure, water temp etc i would run a full sweep electronic or mechanical gauge any day.

Well I know I'm going with a mech gauge elec seams to be more work then needed. Got enough wires to mess with and worry about with this swap. Jus don't know if I should go with a boost gauge that goes up to 20 or 30 psi

Autometer Cobalt Series Wideband. Beautiful gauge and does the job awesomely. Customizable ranges and alerts.

btw, it's called cobalt series for the blue LED display, not our cars lol

Just get a 20psi gauge. It'll look better if you max out more of the gauge than having a high number you never hit

That's what I was thinkin, but wasn't sure as I thought the factory ss gauge went up to 30 so didn't know if there was a reason or if that's what I should get... that and what r the odds of me goin over 20psi..... like none unless I wanna blow my car up lol

I prefer the ultralite series myself... then just get the LED colored bulbs to change the color to whatever you want!
