ZFR turbo.

So ZZP wrote me on Facebook and are recommending a turbo swap to a ZFR. Anyone used this and please let me know what you gained.
Thank you.

There is a search button on the site for a reason, just like there is a google search for other needs....to find stuff before asking.

Second, talking like that will get you no where. And no where did you post you were new to the site on this thread. GTFO.

A lot of guys have had great success with about 28lbs no boost ramp needed. Make sure you put in a very strong clutch to hold the power

Don't worry OP most people on these forums now are immature ******** wirh nothing better to do. All everyone does is bitch about the "search button;" then when someone uses the "search button" they bitch about that person bumping an old thread. It's a catch 22 on here these days. Just ignore 85% of the people that post and you will be fine.

445 gears dont exist LOL - well super hard to find anyways. I run 27psi on stock transmission on my zfr but im ramped - only 374tq max. its all about driving habits anyways.

You have been warned though.. either change gears out, be careful of power, get boost ramped or change transmission period. Much easy to change gears if your transmission is still working, otherwise you are going to cost yourself more money ( once 3rd gear breaks say good bye to your bell housing.. !$700 just for that alone )

I am installing 445 gears in spring with my motor build too replacement before it blows up

No
This guy has been on here 6 months making stupid threads that can be answered with minimal digging around this forum if he cant give enough effort to find a zfr thread he probably cant be bothered to do the necessary things to heep a zfr powered car alive.

i got mine lol. but mine just isnt the gears, it was the trans zzp were doing before the f40 swap. i grabbed the last one lol. but im only on 25psi. matt had me tuned on 27 at first and i was just over 400/400 on their mustang dyno, but since its a DD backed it down a little.

574, i know what you meant too. i was just piggy backing off the clutch part.

The whole turbo thing is new to me and I am trying to learn but some of you guys on here are complete ********. One day when I get my car all done up someone will ask me questions and I will politely answer anything they need.

I'm curious about the zfr supercharger as well. I've heard good things about it but it seems like a lot of work to swap.

I really haven't heard much about the zfr to be honest so I for one appreciate good and informative threads like this one. So what's the smallest pulley I can run on it and how much boost can I expect?

Largely depends on your cooling mods and tune. Do you atleast have full bolt ons? Are you going to be on pump or e?
