I was planning on running 87 most likely. I read on the internet that octane really doesn't mean anything in terms of power and that detonation is a fars.

 

Add some water to the 87 i heard its like running meth

 

Be sure and get your gas from the cheapest no name station also.

Wouldn't running anything over 25 psi be dangerous to OEM ringlands?

I've read here and there that stock pistons' rings will crack at 26 psi, to not go over 25 psi.

If I'm wrong could you please correct me?

Good tuner is all you gotta worry about.

 

On stock turbo I was around 315whp idk how much tq. I'm on Zfr running 94 octane now and according to my tuner I'm making about 440whp or more and 390wtq rice boost ramp goes up to 25 psi, then at higher rpms goes to 28 psi. Stock tranny. Don't get on it under 3k rpm. Power definitely doesn't hit hard like the stock turbo where I wasn't ramped but it pulls and pulls .....and pulls all the way to redline and beyond if I'd up my rev limiter , which I won't.
