Ive got the Camaro blues and I LIKE IT.
I enjoy the Idea of quick compacts and all but the Cobalt/Camaro comparison is just not good:
4 banger vs V8....very different
FWD vs RWD V E R Y different.
1/4 mile of the SS Cobalt to some Camaros....I can buy that one
I guess my Issue is one of trying to compare apples to bannanas not Macintosh to red delishious.
There really is something to be said with the low seating ,posi rwd and instant low end torque,but Iguess Ive got the blues
Hear me out..Im ONLY concerened at the comparison of two cars that only share the same Make as a commonality.
next the magazines will compare the Camaro to the neon............

I agree with you the SS/SC is no LS1 Camaro, however it's definetly an affordable, fast little car. And I think the article is trying to show that Chevy has an affordable performance car now.
I have never driven or riden in an LS1 camaro, so I can't compare them directly.

Actually,
I have not driven ,riden in a Cobalt either..... The only one I saw way a base model....shrug.
The salesman said that there wasnt that much difference in the models...base to SS......*dropping head,walking away from salesman* to drive my LS1 Camaro...same as the V6 Camaro according to him
I DO want to test drive a S/C one.
