Well, since I first heard they were releasing a third, I had always said i"m going to see it in theatres. Only because I really enjoyed the first movie (despite it's ricerness). The secodn one I saw in theatres cause I liked the first, boy was that mistake. Anyway.. I'm a big movie fan, so I can't see 2 of 3 movies in the theatre, it's just not right.

Anyway, after reading what you guys are saying about it, I think I may actually enjoy this. I'm going ot see it tonight, so we'll find out.

I've never gone to a F&F movie expecting a good plot. I go for the cars and masterful driving, which this one delivered.

What's funny everyone thinks drifting is "new"...

tokyo drift

I thought the movie was very good. Nice to see new actors. and the mustang was funny. the movie was much better then the others and the car running was very realistic. And its cool to see the real d1 cars in there too. over all i would say go see it.

No, that is THE Veilside Fortune RX-7. Read Modified Magazine July 2005 for the before, and Sport Compact Car's July 2006 issue for the after. Both cars are the one and the same. The car's current fate is unknown to me. Either way, its' a shame what has happened to that poor car.

I have not seen the movie however, I might see it sometime. But as of now they are not showing it in the locak 4 cenema theatre. And the night of the release there was hail. So not even a single hot rod was to be seen that night when I found out the hard wany and watched Cars. Which BTW is VERY much worth watching.

It was a good movie all-in-all. The acting was good, but i have a hard time standing Lucas Blacks accent, but thats beside the point. Awesome driving, badass cars, hot girls, and decent music. What more can we ask for in a movie? Im kind of a Mustang guy myself so I wasnt fond of a Skyline block in an old school beauty but I wont complain about it too much. After the movie was over I took my mustang out and started sliding that **** as much as possible.

i just got back from watching it. i agree that it was better, more car involvement, and the drifting scenes through the streets were insane. there were a few computer generated drifts that were noticeable, but nothing crazy.
i want that evo 9, minus the wing

after the movie is always the best tho... everyone races
including me lets see......... killss tsi,sti,99si,2006si,like 3 camaros, and got killed by an awesome srt-4, trans am,350z............. i live about 30 min from the movie and it seemed like some car club was following me home i have 1320 on my car and alot of ppl here know what that is also i went with like 3/4 of a gas tank down to 1 lol

I really liked it. It was by far the best of the 3, no rice really. A lot of nice cars, nothing over the top, no fancy LED shows which was a nice change. The driving was fantastic, the stunts looked very real, unlike in the second movie (where everything looked CG) this movie delivered real action scenes, and only a few short clips of CG here and there (the 1inch away from the wall shots for example). The good part about what was CG, is that those scenes could actually be done in real life, they were not in the movie, for nicer angles, and obviously some parts where to dangerous for a film.

Was also funny to see two honda kids try to show off in the parking lot on the way out, but they couldn't even cut the tires loose in first gear.. I just shook my head.

There was a red focus zx3 in the parking lot with rims and exhaust and a couple stickers with the license plate "I8ANLS1" My brother knows him, the dude installed my brothers springs on his focus, might I add that they were put on the wrong way but that wasnt discovered till my brother put his stock springs on.

Saw it, wasn't expecting anything more than entertainment value but came away pleasantly surprised. Took my sister and g/f along and we all enjoyed it. We all gave it about a 7/10, defintely worth the 9 bucks to see it. We saw Pixar's Cars a few days ago too and that was kinda weak, my g/f fell asleep through it.

The 1st FnF was good but cheesy as hell, the 2nd was rediculously stupid. This one is actually a good movie, seems like the director made this movie with the car enthusiasts in mind rather than the 9-13 year old crowd. All the driving and racing scenes looked realistic, the girls were hot and the plot was not bad.

Also about the Mustang part, you guys gotta remember they dropped the RB26DETT into it by necessity not choice, the police impounded all their cars except the Siliva with the RB26 swap, and his dad had the Mustang but no engine and he needed a car to race, so the only choice they had was to drop the motor in. I thought it sounded pretty sweet, it was a good choice to please both crowds. The mustang won, so thats a plus for the Domestic fanbois, and it was powered by an RB26DETT which pleases the import fanbois.

Oh and I spotted an RSX in the movie so I'm happy. =), it was underneath the NSX in Hans garage in one of the scenes. The funny thing is after the movie my g/f asked if I could show her how to drift in my car....

LOL its funny how so many people who hated the first one... still checked out the second one... and who hated BOTH the first and second... still checked this one out. I dont know what everyone was looking for out of the first movies... Dont know any car movies that changed the face of movie making as we know it lol... The first one was good......i actually really liked the second one even though they did some retarded **** in it lol... This was was actually SURPRISINGLY very good. I (as i think everybody else was) was ready to see the WORST of the three... The movies was tight though... race scenes were the 2nd best thing in the movie.... the girl with the australian accent being the best lol

I went last night, like everyone else, to pick up the new one liners for the season and to have a good laugh. However, i came away happy. I thought it was quite good and the fact that i read sport compact and learned they brought D1 drifters in to do all the stunts and that all those stunts were actually done made it that much more interesting to watch

Worst of the 3 by far. Blatant copy of the 1st one, except in tokyo.

I liked the 2nd one the best only because it includes the most american muscle.

Also, correct me if i'm wrong but is it not extremely difficult to drift in an EVO considering it's all wheel drive??

Basically, (since i saw no previews) I was hoping to see an actual D1 stang or GTO beat up on the imports but i guess i can't be too disappointed considering that most of the people i saw walking into the theater got out of civic's and 240 sx's and that is the crowd that the movie is catering to.

Afterward's, several people at red lights revved at us but myself and 4 other friends were in a Scion XB (not mine). Oh, how i wish I had taken my camaro and put those fart-can driving dum-dums out of there misery. Props to the guy that showed up in his NSX though.

It was a special EVO that was RWD. I think they disconnected the front shafts.

Movie was wicked! I thought the plot and acting was better than previous ones, mainly due to to Paul walker not being in it. The cars were INSANE and it has a wicked ending.

I went and saw the movie last night. I think that it was way better than the first two, even though i thought at the time that 2Fast 2Furious was the best i had ever seen. But this is aolt better because they took most of the computer generated races out. The cars were awsome, and the action was better than the first two
