Hey guys, I am driving a 2006 4dr cobalt ss... I have seen on several youtube videos that people are using the Mpg inst, instead of Econ (average) I have read my manual and typed it several ways on google search and also tried to change it to Inst myself... Is the 2006 cobalt ss not capable of the instant mileage? if it is can anyone please explain what I might be doing wrong?

 

You're not doing anything wrong. The 2006 model does not have this feature; nor does the 2007.

 

yeah there is no instant that i know of. what you can do is when you reset it, it becomes more "instant" because it starts new data from what you are currently driving, but you will keep having to reset it. Get some Aeroforce gauges and you will get instant on there

 

I think if you have an interceptor you can read MPG Inst. I know with my Kiwi wifi and Rev app I can read MPG Inst.

Just not a feature in the stock DIC
