My car must love water then. I get crazy knock from BP fuel (happened more than once, so I know its not just a bad tank), and Mobil is too expensive in my area, so the car loves Shell.

yeah i'm not that gullible i think someone doesn't know which gas to put in their car and probably put higher grade than supposed to but i'll keep looking around. I like shell just wondering what others think.

Shell is also top tier rated so their gasoline's are of the highest standard.

Only time you will get water in the gas coming out of the pump is if their underground tank is very near empty and has not been cleaned out in a very long time or if you fill up right after (or worse, WHILE) the tanker is refilling the undergraound tank - it stirs up all the crap and condensation that collects in the bottom which is then free to go up the pipe and into your tank
If you pull in for gas and the tanker is just leaving, might want to try somewhere else or wait a few hours.
Shell (or any other major player) has far too much too loose and far too little to gain by doing something like that.....

Shell gas is good gas, but the gas jockey at the shell by me is a real weirdo and I don't appreciate him touching my car so I go to the petro canada down the road. they take debit at the pump too.

You CAN NOT mix gas with water! It will not mix on a molecular level. Go back to basic chemisty.

water in gas
all gas stations have water in there gas...used to work at a shell back in the day there is a read out that tells u how much is in there but it settles to the bottom and fresh gas is pumped out of the top of the tanks...but dont get gas if a tankers there stirs the **** up lol

It might be a reagonal thing though.
Ive never had a problem with BP, Shell, or Cheveron in my car. I wont put lil mom&pop gas in, or walmart gas, ect.
I remember in A&P School (FAA Aircraft Mechanic certification course) we had a class where we had to drain the water out of a fuel tank. The instructor put in gas from Meijers (A reagonal wallmart like store) We drained out quite a bit of water, and the instructor was suprised, he said normaly they have to add water to the tanks for that class. Water could have been in the tank to begin with too, but I dono....
2 things on this:
1: Woudnlt the intake for the pumps be at the bottom of the tanks, takeing fuel from the bottom? Like it is in your gas tank in your car, or in an aircraft?
2: Woudln't you WANT to get gas when the tanker is there so that all that **** that settled to the bottom near where the pump intake is, is floating up to the top away from the intake to the pump?
