I dont understand why some dumb ******* would steel 2 cobalt wheels let alone 4 cobalt wheels....unless, they saw the light flick on and took off!! they might have been close when you discovered your stolen wheels.

But really, do they even know the lug pattern? Only people buying those wheels are on this forum, lol. Im gonna right my name on the inside of my wheels. Actually get them laser etched in there with my fone number.

Good plan. That should work for you and you should be able to get just about any wheel and tire set you want.

...and what is the Core Charge for? The wheels?

Also, if you want to be cheap... and keep some of the insurance money to yourself... I've got 4 SS/SC Wheels powdercoated black in my garage. $350 and they're your's.

Yep. GM usually wants the dealership to return the wheels being replaced.

But anyways... OP, were you boinking some other dude's broad? I find it highly odd of someone to just steal the passenger side unless they were trying to play a prank/get revenge.

good point! stealing 2 just in case he has a spare!. or since the thief had a jack he could have tipped your car over since it looks like he had help.

Who the **** steals wheels from a COBALT.

People who have the same car and need 2 replacement wheels, that's who.

Unfortunately it will be hard/next to impossible to tell even if you spot another ss s/c with the same wheels.

Probably not. I think the core charge was mainly to help thwart the dealership from purposely putting the higher trim parts on lower trim cars to create some wierd "Special Edition". If you look at most of those dealer riced cars, its usually done with aftermarket kits.
