@ the dealer....getting sick of chevy

At the chevy dealer right now. My car took the ultimate ****. Got engine check light, abs light, t/c light, power steering goes out, rpm gas and mph needle goes up and down. After the initial diag they came back and said we don't know what's up we've never seen this before but all 3 of your computers may be replaced, and asked me if I could afford that. I almost laid his ass out. Anyone else had this issue? I'm not paying for a car all 3 computers went on. Period

Don't have the extended warranty. Its a 2007 lt2..... I have a system in my car but this was hapening way before I put the system in so if you did have those problems it wasn't due to your amp. Plus amps have fuses in them to cut the circuit if it double backs. This car ran great until 40k than started breaking like clock work.

^^ that's what I was thinking. You pull a ground off an amp and the amp just cuts off the circuit will never double back. I work at a car audio shop and we do this to cars all the time to test the ground connection cause were to lazy to use the little tool that tests the ground (forget what its called) and we've never had an issue. So chevy must be doing something wrong. Hell you can pull the ground off your own battery and nothing should happen. That's how you test the alternator

^ false, you pull the + off the battery to test the alt,
pulling the neg will kill the car everytime. (from my exp)

My 07 Has the 5 year 160k km (100k mile) warranty. I would think that all 2007's would have it.

Still at the dealer. Still don't know what's wrong. I wasn't aware it took 7 hrs to diagnose a vehicle by the dealer.

Found out what was wrong. 05 06 and 07 models have the wire harness to the ecu and bcm wired incorectly on certain batch. Check your vin numbers guys. If they have a 77 anywhere in them its bad luck. They rewired the ****, cleaned the pin connectors and called it a wrap. 165 bucks....car works perfect thank god. 165 is not to bad

I really don't understand what you mean about the vin number. What digits are you talking about that have a 77 in them. Each number in a VIN means something. Is there a TSB out for this?

If your vin has a tripple 7 in it than you may have this problem. Like my vin has 777 right in the middle of it. They said there's no recall on it because not all of them are doing it. There's only like 150 that have been entered in the system or some ****.
