Really is it a 5 yr extended warranty?? If its an extended warranty I don't think that's covered is it? Or does it cover all promblems. Thanks guys

***update...I called the dealer who did the work and mentioned the 5 yr warranty this is what he said and I quote. "That's a 5 yr DRIVETRAIN warranty and since when does rewiring a computer be considered a drive train issue"... and GM wonders why there loosing business

Really so GM let's everyone bring a car to their shop (dealer) that is NOT stock and pay for anything wrong to it. No the dealer is right, Electrical is NOT drive-train, maybe you should have gotten that extended bumper to bumper. I know I did and guess what I even got brakes covered under it.

If GM followed your Logic and every other car maker for that matter, yeah we would back to horses.

Regardless of what a part should or shouldn't do, fact is they warranty what they sold you stock.

^^ and I'm fine with that and tottaly agree....other people here were telling me to check on the warranty...they'd be loosing a customer becauase that guy made me feel like a moron when I was clarifying information. I work cust service as a manager and you have to be mindful of what you say and how you say it because 9x out of 10 people don't know what a warranty covers....

So before you jump my ass you need to check yourself and your moatives moron

They do know what caused the electrical issue?

^^ the wire harness was not wired correctly from the manufacturer. Nothing "caused" it. Was just wrong. I've always had electrical issues with the car.

the 5 yr 100k mile warranty is only drive train not bumper to bumper.
if you had an extended warranty that pushed the bumper to bumper to 5 yr 100k then I would have it covered and make a big deal about it.

Great so your admitting that their should be no need to ask about the warranty since YOU yourself are a CSR Manager and should know to read the fine print that would have shown you its a DRIVETRAIN warranty , not Bumper to Bumper. Also it's hard to believe that the sales person didn't offer the bumper to bumper.

Glad you got it fixed.

Dude I never said they didn't offer bumper to bumper lmao. Do you like fabricating what people say. At the time I couldn't afford the extra amount it would have tacked on. And again that's why I didn't ask about the warranty until several people pushed me too. I figured electric problems were not covered. Quit assuming with out a proper assesment it makes an ass out out of you, not so much me.

I see a contradiction here , in this statement you said

"Really is it a 5 yr extended warranty?? If its an extended warranty I don't think that's covered is it? Or does it cover all problems. Thanks guys"

But in the above you knew.

My point was this, Your very first post was I have problems with my car guys and I'm going to punch the guy, cuz I might have to pay for work to a car out of warranty. ( In a nut shell)

Then you were fine with only $165 and instead of posting what you did to me to your replies, you posted as if you didn't know anything about the warranty coverage and then you said I know about warranties, stated you know much about them and how to convey them.

So before you comment on how bad one company is, get your ducks in a row and then fire.

And as before glad you got it fixed.

I wasn't going to knock dude out cause I had to pay. I was going to knock him out because he insulted me by asking if I can afford to have my car fixed. That's like someone going into a burgar kind, them ordering food and the teller saying. Are you sure you can afford this burger. Yes I came here and asked for it didn't I. You assumed I was reefering to the warranty. I was not. I was reefering to the lack of customer service skills this dealership orchestrates with on two occasions in a 8 hr day. Your point is irrelevant because your arguing what you assumed I was reefering to. Was never the warranty. I got cash ...I don't got time to be treated like I can't pay to fix my car.
