i was just wondering im getting ready to get an 05 ss, but it has 80k on it, im buying it from my friend who got it with like fourty five, he doestn't have it paid off yet so i was wondering if it was worth getting the loan so i can swich over to my name or wat. he hasn't driven it hard either,

Don't get it! From what i know superchargers usually give out around 75k, but you never know.

Man the SS/SC cars will be beat to ****.

Probably a clutch has/needs to be replaced. Not a good car to buy used. Too risky with 80k miles

 

there are plenty of members on here with a high mileage ss/sc.... A ss/sc will not give out if its given proper maintenance and if thats the case you will be fine... Drive the car see if the clutch is bad that might be the only thing.... But a clutch is easy to fix so its up to you bro...just drive it around for about 20 mins and if its ok then buy it you will find out early if somethin is up... check boost if its stock it should be 12.5 if its stage 2 anywhere from 15lbs to 16lbs so forth...

 

Not on a 2005, powertrain is 5/60k .......n00......nevermind hehe

 

It is really up to you, but after driving mine for 83000 KM and having constant problems and NOT abusing my car I would really recommend not buying the car! Good luck though!
