06 Cobalt ss..NEEDS MORE!! HELP!!

Ok..So i've got about 400 or so extra..i wanna spend it on the car

Cobalt ss/sc 60k miles

Ingalls td
stage 3...with a/c
megan cat back
Injen intake

My question is what would you spend the money on..

I've been thinking about n20..since it is stg 3..Or maybe meth..but then i would have to retune...or a h/e or duel pass?..catted Downpipe?..If its a proformance mod..i want to be able to feel the difference..And i'm also thinking about a couple subs or something.

So what would you do with about 400 bucks?

ok..don't take this the wrong way...but before i had stg 3 i was on stage 2 tune..with stage 3 pulley..and i honestly can't tell the difference..i almost think i was faster before..but it's most likey in my head...But the 100oct mod feels a little faster than stg 2..

Also will a dual pass and h/e make it feel any faster? with stg 2 i ran 13.8 btw going for 13.5 or low 13's if i go with n2o

zzp s3 heat excanger and dual pass or cobra h/e.... you wont "feel" a noticable difference in "speed" but you will be able to make consecuative pulls down the track or whatever at your best and insetad of having one good run waiting.........for your car to cool down from heat soaking, you can improve on each run so any run could be your best depending on how you drive down the strip.......and with cooling mods you will hav the choice to retune to pull more timing and stuff so you can go faster being that much cooler

Ok..i know vince said i was running into a little bit of knock at the top of 3rd. and we couldn't go any furthur with the timing..so maybe a he/dual pass will give me more room.

Also i am the 2nd owner of the car..So i'm not 100% sure what mods are allready done..i know i almost whent with stg two then found it was allready installed..is there anyway to tell if its got an after market h/e or if its allready got a dual pass just by looking?

yupp they will help with ur tune...

if it has an aftermarket h/e it will be mounted to the crash bar most likely and you wont hav much room inbetween it and the open part of your bumper, it will be noticable from the front of the car just like an intercooler would...

best way to tell if u have dual pass is just to look at the side of ur intake mani and see if the end plate has two or three lines coming off of it, three lines (hoses) means dual pass...two means stock

no heat exchanger only the stock one (behind crash bar)

after market h/e and stock h/e

notice the difference by the wiper fluid tank......

Ok would you guys recommend BOTH a h/e and a dual pass? I was thinking ZZP stg 3 h/e and zzp dual pass. Along with option b..Unless i only need one or the other.

yes h/e, dual pass, and option b...

h/e- to lower your temps to retune cause vince could only do so much with yours

dual pass- to let you be able to run consecuative passes or pulls without heatsoaking as much or aas fast

option b- to keep unwanted air outta your pump system so your temps wont rise, if you have air in your pumping system (cooling system) the it will cause your temps to rise as well which is why you run option b and a mix of water, coolant, and waterwetter.....more water than coolant for summer and more coolant than water in winter...same amount of waterwetter in all seasons
