Jeez, Who has seen the new '07 dash setup??? I knew i shouldve waited, it looks amazing, and it comes with the ipod aux. jack which is a nice plus. I just got my 06 ss/sc and i'm kinda regretting not waiting for the '07. Check out the pics at the chevy website, let me know what you guys think....

Pfft, you say "I wish I had an 07" but all those 07s (err... me) are going to say "I wish I got the 08 or 09" when they turbo it or something. haha every year things get better!

I'll take the MP3 radio setup...FM transmitters blow. Tired of burning CD after CD.

 

I really hate the new '07 radio, except for the aux jack, that shitz hawt :P

 

Yah that and they also have the option for the lower spoiler instead of the coat hanger.... I mean high mount spoiler which I am soon to trade but........

dash and radio aint got **** on Recaro's and LSD so i'd take my '06 anyday.

how did you get the G85 everything I have seen does not show the option? Thats sweet though

 

If you put your order in early enough, I put mine in May, then you can get one. I have been told that only a few hundred are being made, though that may have been dealer bs.

 

This new dash set up is a copy of many HHR components in an effort for GM to save money. I personally like the '06 better. The stereos that GM is using is a "silver box" with different faceplates for each vehicle. My feeling, if you like the '07 stereo better, keep an eye on Ebay b/c someone will be selling one and it should be a direct swap. There is a cable for the '06 to hook up an MP3 player....follow the link.

Yea the cable sounds like a good idea, but where does it attach, and how much is involved? also, has anyone had problems with their dash? the paint on the driver side door trim is coming off...anyone else w/ similar problem?

 

dealership will replace the door trim under warranty. lot of people have that problem
