08 Sport

I was looking into buying a '05, '06, or '07 SS/SC but I cant find one anywhere. Is the 2008 sport coupe similiar, or will I be disapointed. I love the body+high spoiler of the ss/sc. Does anyone have this car? Is it the same body/car just without a supercharger?

I tried searching the forum and didnt find anything about this, sorry if this has been asked.
Thanks in advance.

i was having my car serviced at the dealership, so while i waited i walked the lot and found both a ss s/c and the '08 cobalt sport. the thing cost more then my ss /sc. had a price tag of $24,000+ for it.
sorry for the poor pics, use my cell phone cam and it was raining.

I guess my real question is the SS model (non supercharged) the same bodykit as the supercharged? If not is it possible to get the new 08 with a body of a SS/SC?

According to Chevy.com, if you pimp out the Sport with everything, it doesnt hit 24,000. That dealership is working to profit.

the bumpers are the same. the difference is that the ss/sc comes with a front and rear lip. you can get the lip and have it put on. they will just have to put the tabs to install it. but a body shop could do it, would probably just be a little pricy.

you can get a new one for that price. you'll sell that car for 18,000 IF you're lucky.

only if its their 1st experience with the cobalt. they'll believe that got a bargain until they find SS.net and get flamed for paying so much for the '08 sport.....then they'll get upset when they find out if they just waited, they could have gotten the turbo cobalt. we'll just wait and see!!!

The one I'm wanting is like 22,300 that's fully loaded but by the time i get it im waiting on the 2k rebate and use GMS discount so i figure i would get it around 18.5 but im kind of waiting on the LNF I'm mostly looking for gas mileage but i want a little pep in my step lol because my moms Sunfire 2.2 doesnt cut it.
