Just turned 100k not too long ago and on the highway coming home tonight my slave cyl went i believe and had to drive home clutchless which is easy if you been driving standard for years and years. all i have to say being stage 2˝ since 20k and to this point with being a daily driver and weekend warrior... i am very pleased with the drivetrain performance and will be buying the gm stage 2 clutch from CED and going with a gm new flywheel because i dont see a reason to buy a lightweight blah blah blah when all i want is factory parts. then going from there and hope that lasts till 250k. that being said cobalts are awesome i love mine thru and thru and im not even angry or mad about what happened. <3 my balt and i guess i'll keep everyone posted on how the process is going. everyone has their own ways of breaking in a clutch. im simply going to do very light driving for the first 700 miles. the switch to highway for 300 miles before going into boost. some people do 200 miles, some dont even break it in (the young crowd lol). some i heard break it in to 2500 miles. i think thats just over doing it imo.
