2.4L to 2.2L header question

2.4L to 2.2L header question
I've read various post here and the info is varied. Some say putting a 2.4 intake manifold on a 2.2 is just as good as putting on a header. And some threads say the 2.2 lap motor already has a hybrid variant of the 2.4 intake manifold. So is it as good as having a factory header?
