I really am not joking guys... Let me add a few factors to the puzzle.
1) The stock Michelins absolutely suck. I have come to the conclusion that these are the worst tires on earth for my RSX.
2) It has been in the 20's all week (Fahrenheit).
3) The roads do have some debris leftover from our last snow storm such as salt stains.
These are not excuses just things I forgot to include in my message after coming home from driving my car. I do love it that much. Thus, it is probably all these factors along with the uncontrollable torque on a Type-S... OK I'm kidding there.

so either youre full of ****, or youre just a seriously shitty driver and rev too high on the launch and dump the clutch.
and not trying to be a dick but.....
VTEC IS NOT AN EXPERIENCE........... BOOST IS AN EXPERIENCE
Once again, this topic has approached its end. Great pictures...good information, initially..but this back and forth bantering is tiresome. We're all enthusiasts...all with our own opinions, our own cars and our own experiences. On some things we may agree, but on many others..we just won't. State your opinion..and if you have some 'facts' to bring to the table, I'd encourage more factual backing (Websites, article references, etc.)
Otherwise, it's pointless.
Oh, and I love this new smiley.

i like the redline looks a lot more in a different way then the cobalts...the redline is such an amazing sleeper esp w/o the spoiler...id love to see someones exspression if i lit the tires in one...but some of the cheap stuff on the redline made me not want one, like the door handles, and the crappy saturn stereo packages...but i like the center gauges and the sleeper look, but cobalts just look hot and they seem to be much better quality in parts and interior and stuff so that made up my mind between the two
I like the looks of the Cobalt SS more, well better than any Redline that isn't black anyways. The black ones are tight. I like the quad coupe configuration, but there still isn't alot of room back there, and I highly prefer the Cobalt interior to the Redline's.
Oh, and good job getting the pics mschmidt.
Very fair statement, I agree with you.

Fair enough... lets just stop this. The Cobalt SS and RSX-S are both nice cars in the same price range that perform similarly. Its all a matter of taste to which you prefer.
Hey guys, I figured I would bring this back from the dead since I saw this car again today... much cleaner this time. No camera on me but I will bring it with me tomorrow as I may be in Ann Arbor again.
Sorry to hear that the SS Supercharged is not out yet, I feel for you guys that ordered one in the fall... I almost did myself.
Here are the pics again hosted somewhere else as I have removed them from my ftp.

Hey dude, could you crawl under the car and see if it comes with LSD?
j/k but if you could get some interior shots...especially of the seats...i would be extremely grateful to your awesomeness.

Ok first nice find i didn't see the post when you first made it and WTF. The Cobalt looks ok and i'm saying that only cause its dirty as h**l. And also WHY? That place looks so crappy, run down and old the question everyone wants to know is why does that place or whoever the owner is have that car?
Can you tell me what that place is? Is it a factory, store, **** house, what??
Also if you have the guts (i'm not calling you a wuss) could you go in there and ask the who owns that and how. Also i like your RSX I wanted one of those cars when it first came out.
I agree it looks weird like its called Bob's house of crazy kinky ****. If thats what its called whats mschmidt doing there?

he he... Bob's house of crazy kinky ****. Funny.
I did drive by today during lunch and it was gone... maybe he was out like me. Everytime I see the car it has the same guy in it. I would have to say he was in his 30's. I did notice a sign on the adjacent building that this guy works at. The place was called Lotus I believe. I took a pic of the sign. I will post it when I get home. I also notice a bunch of No tresspassing signs this time. opps.
I'm pretty sure the driver of those cars does not own them. If you look closely, you can see that they both have Michigan manufacturer plates on them. The 4th character from the left is a letter "M". These plates are usually put on preproduction and experimental vehicles or cars driven by executives, managers and other such employees.
Great pics, though. Hope to see more.

These execs, managers, and other such employees are the ones employed by GM right??? Thats what your saying right? Ssssooo why does this person have the car? I'm going to make a huge assumption right here....that place doesn't look like it owned by GM. I'm sorry i don't think GM would own such a sorry looking building. I'm not saying i know the answers to this thing here. It just doesn't make sense to me thats all. Thats why i'm questioning this.
Or maybe that give these cars to people, other then GM employees, to test out the cars.
Who know the mystery continues. Quick someone cue the evil laughter.

as you all SHOULD know GM tests products (quality assurance testing) before they go for sale production cars, the people that drive these cars are GM officals, supervisors and engineers. You also need to be some way affiliated with the company to drive a company car (MFG plates) the cars will come when they come, its all one big joke till they come, please wait patiently...oh yeah Rob take it easy with the questions give banshee and all of us some room to breathe if you read thru some of the posts you'll find you answer
room to breathe? i asked 2 questions... simply 2 questions, it is mans free will whether to answer or not... not to start a fight, but we are all anxious, curious, and begginning to get a little impatient. so before you go putting names in your posts.. put yourself in our shoes. and i know you guys are doing your best.. but you dont learn unless you ask questions
not trying to start a fight but before you ask questions that already have been answered why dont you wait search for the answer and when all else fails ask. you only make yourself look bad when you ask questions that have been already answered
