2 quick questions ('06 cobalts)

how do you make it so the doors DONT lock when travelling over 5Km/hr


how do I make the A/C go to reciculate mode? this is the first car I've owned that doesnt have that button....

isn't it just the right button of the 3 on the HVAC controller?

I don't know if you can change it in the DIC...I know in my 09 that there are a bunch of things that you can mess with but I don't remember if thats one of them. Might be a safety feature you have to keep...

Pretty sure you can turn it off by turning your key unto the on position (or parking while it's running) hold down both the enter button and scroll button on your in dash display for like 4 seconds it should switch from the regular options to more car function related stuff such as oil change reset and headlights auto on and such... Scroll through it I'm pretty sure auto locks on and off is one of the options

Do you have a owners manual? Direct from the manual

"If your vehicle has power door locks, the doors will automatically lock when the shift lever is moved out of PARK (P) for a vehicle with an automatic transaxle. For a vehicle with a manual transaxle, the speed must be greater than 5mph (8 km/h). The automatic door locking feature cannot be disabled.

k I just did what you said and there were more car related features but there was only auto Unlock... boo stupid car... im not a child lol

lol oh and no I lost my owners manual, I'm sure its in my room somewhere

lol no no I had "post reply" up as I went out to go do that, then when I tryped what I did and posted it you already posted something know what I mean? lol

then edited it about the owners manual after I read yours and didnt bother to fix the rest haha

I made a mistake, evidently you can't turn it off the setting I was thinking of was only for auto unlock...
