Hey guys, I'm looking at buying my first Cobalt. I was just curious to know how many kms or miles the engine car usually lasts. The one I am looking at has 140,000 kms on it. Thanks!

 

No one knows exactly. The Ecotec is an excellent, durable engine. I have 100K miles on mine which is, what, about 160,000 km I think? Still running good as new and I expect it will continue to do so for a long time.

 

Personally I think it depends who has owned and how they took care of it to portray how long the engine will last. The ecotech's can take quite a lot of abuse for sure though!
