2006 Cobalt SS/SC...Reliable Mods?

I just got a brand new 2006 Cobalt SS/SC 11 days ago, and I'm still blown away from it. I originally had a 97 Ford Probe, but I blew the motor...300K from home! Well it was a perfect excuse to go buy my WRX Impreza...however I noticed the cobalt first and decided to stop and have a look. A sales woman immediately ran out and threw me the keys...she knew that after one drive, I would do anything to drive it off the lot for good. She was right, and I did, and I can't seem to stop driving it! 1600km already! I cannot believe the power of my car and feels to me like a little more than 205hp. So far have raced and spanked 2005 Olds Alero, 98' Camaro Z28, and a 01' Mustang GT ...the one I lost was vs. 02' SVT Lightning but I got him off the line and gave him a run...lol. When I wheeled him, he showed me a race slip...538hp, 619ft/lb, 0-60 5.1, 1/4mile 11.3sec, so then I didn't feel so bad. I really want to to do some aftermarket mods, but seems like everything will void my warranty!!
Has anyone found/installed anything worthwhile and reliable for the $$$?

Well right now you can get the K&N intake from modern performance or the fujita intake. Those will really not void your warranty because you can take them off anytime.
Also almost any dealer will tell you that if you do anything thats CATBACK will not void your warranty meaning catback exhaust. You can either get magnaflow exhaust or Altered Atmosphere exhaust. I recommend you get the 3.0 inch Altered atmosphere exhaust since it gives better gain and it opens up for later and higher power applications. I can also recomend you to get the FUJITA iintake but thats just me because thats the one I have on my car myself and I love it and really feel the gain. The supercharger whines like crazy with this intake. Youll love it. And theres deffinetly a Big gain.
well hope that helped.
Regards
Laz.

" I cannot believe the power of my car and feels to me like a little more than 205hp."

There is for sure something scary going on under the hood of my 06 SS/SC as well
To me, and others who have rode shotgun, it feels more than 205 wHp without a doubt. The ususal 3rd gear pull comment is usually ..

"Whoaaaaaa , Noooo way man, No Way!... 205 my ass!!!"

I have to get mine dynod. I had my first srt 4 encounter just the other day and although we kept thing to a dull roar, I was pulling from a roll constantly. I was was surprised, and so was the other driver. WHo knows what may have happened at higher speeds , but I did get well into third (120Km/H) and he was behind 3/4 car and falling...

I was out again today and washed my car, (wasn't even that dirty...lol) well a Grand Prix GTP pulled out to pass me doing 80km/h and I dropped to 2nd gear. The instant that I hit the throtle, the tires broke free for a moment, then I was sucked back into my seat, even hit my head on the headrest....I had a smile from ear to ear...not sure bout the other guy....he didn't get passed me...HEHE
