Black for sure, I wouldn't get it in any other color even if the price was a steal.

I'm torn between the same 2 colors for my SS when I get it. Black is stealthy, but silver is mysterious. Plus ppl can call you Bullit!!! LMAO

If you're willing to take care of a balck car and the upkeep and what not...go black but if you're lazy.....DON'T. Great care must be taken when owning a black car

yeah black got dirty so easily. at times i am lazy. but the thing is at my dealer there is a red one and a silver. if they were to get a black in it would have to be from another dealer..u think i should try to get a good price for the silver one instead of them gettin it from another dealer and not givin me a good deal...

I think the first thing i would check with silver, is see how many variances there are in the color. Gm has a tendancy to make like 7 different variances in the color. And when making touch ups on panels, it can be a pain in the butt having to blend it into the doors. Where black is black and there is no variance as far as i am aware. And im looking at an 06 ss 2.4 right now....still unsure and may wait till the spring to get a supercharged one.

yeah i wanted to go supercharged..i cant afford 450/month plus insurance on one of thos guys. plus all my friend are modding there cars and they are breakin down. i live like 10min away from Cobalt Addiction...so moddin around here is easy. im going with the 2.4ss cuz no1 around here has them modded...ive seen 4 and they are all bone stock. so ill take a look at the silver and see how it is...if it is nice..should i go w/ it? i mean the car has 4miles on it. if i got a black one...it would be driven over from another dealership....

If I was to buy an SS 2.4L it would be white (Damn you GM and not making the SS/SC in white!!!). But of the 2 you have it boiled down to; black if you don't mind washing it alot. If not, silver.

Black is looks amazing however the upkeep is a pain. Also if you ever get in a accident or anything black is one of the hard colors to make look perfect again.
