2007 Color question

So,

I hear there is a darker red coming out on the Cobalt for 2007 in addition to VR.... The pics of the G5 coupe had shown it I think...

Is there any word if that color will be only avaible on coupe and sedan, and NOT on the SS's????

That would look really cool on an SS/SC. But I wish the darker wheels were still there as well. This new "high polished" wheel isn't for me... tooooo blingy.

Yes, there is "Sport Red Metallic" which will be available on the SS/SC. You still can get the gunmetal rims. The "high-polish" is now a no cost option if you don't like the gunmetal.

Here are some pictures of Sport Red on an Impala & Monte-Carlo from the Chev site:

doesnt look like it'd go good on an SS, maybe a base model, but doesnt really look like it fits the aggresive look of an SS

ok... if it's the same Sport red that's on the current GM cars, that would be nice.

I have a co-worker that has a new Impala in that color. Looks good.
I also almost bought a Silverado in that color.

Would like that with the darker wheels. Hmmmmmmmmmm

I belive there were special edition 04 GTO's (last 500 built for 2004 I belive) that came in a darker red. I don't believe any other year GTO's came in a darker Red.

+1. The new color is NOT sport red. The new red is called red tint coat, and looks pretty sweet in my opinion. The new rainer's have a red tint coat, check it out. Oh, and the new blue is pace blue?

Yeah, the sport red tint coat is the same as what was on the Impala and Monte-Carlo if I am not mistaken. It has the same name so, I would assume it will be the same as in the pics I posted. It is no coincidence that it is no longer available on the Impala or MC.

No clue what the color is, haven't seen it. I just pulled the info from another site. The black tie radio is the one that's currently in the HHR I believe. All I know about it is that it looks different and supposedly has a jack for an ipod. :P

Pace Blue is a updated Blue Granite . No pics yet . "black-tie radios" are the new style radio's in the 06 Impala/Monte/HHR .

The only darker red GTO's were the 2006 Spice red ones , and the last batch of 04's that you mentioned .

This is what I have read about the new colors, Pace Blue will not be available on either the SS/SC or the NA SS, Sport Red Tint will be available but will be an extra cost paint job....that's what I've read.
