I don't have many recent pics, but i will send in something...

 

It would be neat to own a calender with a pic of my car in it.

 

if it really came down to it then yeah, i would agree with the best twelve bein in there for each month and maybe finding a creative way to merge the rest of the pics into a like combind pic to form a cover for the calendar.

i'm sre though this will slowly bring in more cars. last year it came close to the deadline before we had enough to finish the calendar

and can it be confirmed that my pics were received and will work fine for the calendar?

i don't know if this has already been answered but, what resolution is the printer going to print at? 150?300? dpi

IIRC the printer he uses prints at 300dpi

 

I think the template is at 296... but I forget

I'll have 3-4 cars to submit in the next couple days

The reason the images have to be 1200x900 is because 99.9% of the people submit them at 72dpi, we factored the submission size at 72dpi so they will be sized properly when printed at 296dpi

I sent pics but i am not sure how big they were, my email account has a habit of resizing my pics without telling me. If they were to small let me know i will resend from a different account.

This is why you need to send them in a ZIP file...

 

b_faulk, yes your pictures were too small.

HOW-TO CREATE A ZIP FILE

1.) Right Click on your desktop
Goto: New: New Folder


2.) Name the folder with your username

3.) Open the folder

4.) Copy/Paste your properly sized images into the new folder you created


5.) Close the Folder and then Right Click on the Folder
Goto: Send To: Compressed (zipped) Folder


This will create a ZIPPED folder on your desktop containing your images


6.) Attach this zipped folder file to your email and submit it

If you don't see your name here then I either didn't receive your pictures, they were too small or the pictures you sent just aren't good enough quality or not going to work with the format of the calendar.

By my count that is 20 cars that are GOOD plus Reign took 4 or 5 cars today I think and my own car so that puts us around 25 cars. We need at least 48 guys, lets go!

I tried a zipped file and my email won't let me send it, saying it's to large. I will send it 2 at a time,they should get there fine that way...
