2009 silver color confusion..

On Chevrolet's website and on my window sticker my car is listed as "Silver Ice Metallic". However, when I call my dealership and give them my VIN number my car is listed as "Switchblade Silver Metallic" and the color-matched paint is also called the same. Not that any of this is important, but interesting. Has anyone else with a 2009 silver Cobalt checked on this?

It does not matter what they call it. The only thing that matters is the paint code. The sticker containing that information is under your spare tire cover. The "color matched paint" is not going to match. The paint used in touch up bottles is not the same type of paint used on the car. More importantly, automotive paint (especially metallics) must be atomized through a spray gun for the metallics to flow properly.
