3 questions

#1) I know in the user's manual it said don't go past 5k rpm for the first 500 miles and I'm real close to 500, so for the first question should I wait longer before it's broken in?

#2) How long does it take before 1 gear stops jerking the hell out of me at half or full throttle?

#3)For the people that have had there s/c's for a while, do they feel faster at all or the same as you have broken them in?

Thanks.

Not in my user manual it doesn't. My manual says vary engine speed for the first 500 miles. After that it's open season as far as I was concerned.

The SS seems to have a sweet spot from 1st to 2nd....just learn how to control it. You will get the hang of it. I would wait a bit until you start gettin hard on it at least till after 1000. Now I am not sayin that you can't play at all just not too much yet. That is just my 2 cents though.

1) that what they recromend for all cars. my moms 05 cts said stay below 65 for the first 500 miles... same with my dads 04 impala. its just to let the engine get lubricated well befor you start to beat up on thoose ricers.

2) yeah i know how to drive a manuel pretty good all my cars have been but i had the same problem when i test drove a ss s/c its just a matter of getting used to the clutch.

3) i dont have one yet
