found out today what my insurance is gonna cost.... 3 grand! 319 a month if i pay monthly! car payment 400, insurance 319 woah! on a 2007 cobalt ss/sc thats being built for me right now, i'm deff gonna have to get it under my parents policy......... thats INSANE, i'm 21 (jan 21st) with no accidents, and 3 tickets in the past 4 years. not bad tickets either....... also thats with 1000 deductible, so if i hit somethin i pay the first 1000, this just keeps gettin better! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Well as you can see I live in New Jersey, and presently under my parents insurance, but I got a price quote for my own car insurance and it was $6,193 for the year, and I have a clean record. So it does not look like I will be getting my own insurance anytime soon.

 

162 in 45 with a coblat? means no license and jail time...plus dude you wonldn't even have a car...let alone that **** would get repoed faster than you can kiss that car goodbye....i smell a bullshit thread again...doing 162 in a 45 they consider that as using yourself as a weapon...attemting murder. no i dont have a license, yes i went to jail for it 3 months until my court date there was a set bond at 2000 but my parents wanted to teach me a lesson would have been longer if i were 18 at the time,and it wouldnt have been repoed because the title is in my name

Cars dont get repoed for breaking the law. Cars get repoed for not paying on them

Cars get impounded for breaking the law. You just have to get it out of the impounded. In some cases(murder/drug bust) cars can be seized. Also, laws vary from state to state.

Oh. And $142 a month. I also totaled a 96 Camaro RS when It had 30,000 miles on it. Damn simi trucks.

1700 and change for 1 full year (22 yrs old)... thats with me being in Facility (high risk). with one "failing to obey traffic signs ticket" (2pts). When I renew in march, my stop sign ticket will be off my record and my insurance will drop to around 1200, with a 500 deductible.

They changed legistlation in Nova Scotia in Nov 04, that insurance companies CANT discriminate by age, sex, race etc... only by experience.
