my first few tickets were in my truck and my 87 supra about 1or 2 years before i bought my cobalt then the unreasonable speed, i lost my licence cause of to many demits(8 demits is max with a GDL licence)
then i got one after, fough it and won! all the rest were photo radar, and 1 exhaust ticket, then just recentlly i had a run in with the most stupidest cop ever, who gave me tickets for stuff i didnt do.... i was driving home, doing about 80 in a 70 zone, then turned off into a 90 zone(a lane you can merge into traffic) i was doin 40 around the turn then got up to about 70-80 and he turned his lights on and pulled me over. got a ticket for doing 130 in a 90(i didnt even get up to 90 in the 90 zone, but was doing 10 over in the 70) then told me i ran a red light when i turned off(it was a turning lane to merge into traffic, there was a yeild sign but he said i was wrong and i have to come to a complete stop.) then just to be an ******* he gave me a dirty licence plate ticket too, even though the roads were shitty and couldnt really prevent it(i did wash me car that day to so it wasnt that dirty, you could still read it....) these tickets are around $1000 and i will lose my licence for probally 6-12months so this time i think i might hire a lawyer to fight them, cause this is bullshit....i was paying attention to my speed cause i did see him behind me, following me for awhile....

sorry i dont think i aswered your question, the one where i was doing 170 in a 70 was a wake up call but the few after i wasnt really doing anything wrong, my photo radar tickets were 92 in a 80, 78 in a 70, etc all my tickets were only 10 over and had no demits, still upset about them but nothing i can really do but try to slow down just an extra 5 or 10 km but that incended with that cop i am very pissed about, i squaled the tires a little bit when i left and my last words was "awsome, thank you, you have a great night officer" but i said it in a tone kinda like "**** you *******"... did 0-90 as fast as i could then slowed down. im suprised he didnt pull me over again, but if he did i would have been arrested with assulting an officer....thats how pissed i was.....if i was speeding i deserve a ticket and if the officer is an ass i deserve it but i got tickets for things i didnt do

Comparing rates means nothing unless you also compare coverage amounts.

If you want to be gutsy, you don't need collision insurance in most states, only liability. You should also get uninsured motorist. Maxed out. And comprehensive. Collision only protects you if YOU are the cause of the accident.

When I had my 05 SS/SC in Canada I was paying $195/month (canadian). I had that for a year, then when I moved to NY, I am now paying $85/month (U.S.) and I'm 30 years old.

So wheres the part you tell me how the hell your Eagle Talon acheived 162mph in a 45mph zone? Then you tell me why I can't call you an idiot, it's not like I just picked you out, I have a reason. You think you did 162mph in an Eagle Talon, you ARE an idiot.

1100 a year. 27, no tickets, no accidents after 10 years of driving. I just know where to go fast not to get caught.
