i had a focus with a v8 in it... and then i threw a rod and it all went to ****... it's sitting in a junkyard now and insurance wouldn't pay for it... that's what i get for making insane mods and not letting insurance know about them! leave the v8 in the camaro for you and your car's sake!

It's called the RS8, which is based on the top-of-the-line Focus in Europe (RS+8; get it?) It makes about 500 HP. Motor Trend raced it against a Lambo Gallardo, and the Lambo BARELY beat it in every major category (top speed, 1/4 mi., 0-60, etc.). They almost cost the same too, though...

And Pontiac Fieros are probably the funnest small cars to throw V8's into. They usually have either a Northstar or LT1 in there and run low 12s with the engine alone, being so damn light and all.

Gotta love those Northstar engines, my first car had one and that thing would fly with a lil work.

anything could be sone. I have an RX7 that i put an oldsmobile 402 v8 in and an 89 s-10 with a 350 in it. but doing it in a cobalt would be alot harder.

I'm going to have to disagree, LOL Fieros RULE. Z Cars are cool, But Eh... Japanese metal mixed with American metal, is just weird. Unless it's a Jap V8.

That's okay, one of these days you will be 18 and you will be all grown up and you will realize that this
is 100X >>>>> then this

Also people were putting V8s in the Z cars the year they came out, before there was any Fieros. Also how many Fieros were sold brand new last year?
